Assertive Community Treatment

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a highly coordinated set of services offered by a group of medical, behavioral health, peer support providers and rehabilitation professionals in the community who work as a team to meet the complex needs of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Case Management

Case Management collaborates with individuals to access the supports and services they need to meet their basic needs and to provide guidance on their journey as they work towards meeting their personal goals.

Counseling

Colonial Behavioral Health provides a continuum of care in counseling services to children, adolescents and adults through individual, group and/or family therapy.

Early Intervention (0-3 Years)

Early Intervention services seek to intervene or reduce the incidence of mental illness and developmental disabilities by enhancing protective factors for at-risk children and their families.

Employee Assistance Program

Employee Assistance Program services are provided to individuals with mental health and/or problematic substance use behaviors. Services are generally provided on an hourly basis, once per week, through group or individual counseling. Employee Assistance Program services typically last one to five sessions and include assessment, referral, and/or brief therapy treatment. Accommodations are made to serve individuals who have disabilities or other special needs.

Mental Health Skill Building

Mental Health Skill-building Services works collaboratively with individuals to build skills that promote self-determination and empowerment. It provides training and education to assist individuals as they work towards stability, independent living, and bettering their daily lives.

On-Site Pharmacy (Genoa)

Colonial Behavioral Health has partnered with Genoa Healthcare, to open an on-site pharmacy. Individuals receiving services at CBH can take advantage of the Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy located on the main campus.

Peer Recovery Services

Peer Recovery Services facilitates recovery from both serious mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Peer Recovery Services is a voluntary, evidenced-based model of care which consists of a qualified Peer Recovery Specialist who assists individuals with their recovery.

Permanent Supportive Housing

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) is an evidence-based housing model that combines affordable, decent, lease-based, independent housing with an array of community based supportive services made available based on each individual’s unique needs, abilities, strengths, and preferences.

People's Place - Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services

People’s Place - Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services focuses on your personal strengths and potential so that you can use these in your life experiences, particularly in the community. Groups that promote a sense of importance, ownership, and empowerment are provided to offer you an opportunity for personal awareness and growth.

Psychiatric Services

All patients who are in need of treatment, monitoring, or stabilization with medication can benefit from Psychiatric Services.
